Data protection on this website

The service provider uses technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data you provide to us from manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. The security measures are continuously improved and adapted state-of-the-art.

SSL and TLS encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Data collection on this website

Server LogFiles
For the purpose of maintaining secure server operation, information is automatically collected and stored in so-called log files. Your browser transmits this information automatically. These are

  • Date and time at the time of access
  • IP address used
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • Amount of data sent in bytes

This data is not merged with other data sources. The data collected will not be used for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.

Request by form, e-mail, phone, fax or letter
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, we will store and process your inquiry, including all personal data (name, inquiry), for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass this data on without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), if this has been requested.

The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Job applications

We collect and process the personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling the application process. Processing may also be carried out electronically. This is particularly the case, if an applicant sends us the relevant application documents electronically.

Data processing helps to carry out the application process, in particular to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR in conjunction with Section 26(1) sentence 1 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) or the corresponding national law.

If the controller concludes an employment contract with an applicant, the data transmitted will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions.

If the applicant concerned gives their consent to this, the data will be stored for a period of 12 months (or until any prior withdrawal of consent) after completion of the application procedure for consideration in future vacancies in the event that the applicant is not hired.

If the responsible party does not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be deleted two months after notification of the rejection decision, unless deletion conflicts with any other legitimate interests of the responsible party. Another legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
